Simplicity Chamomilla is free of petrochemicals, synthetics, and alcohols. Quite simply, it's free of toxic ingredients. When you use Simplicity for the first time, YOUR HAIR MAY GO THROUGH A TRANSITION.
Let me explain. Most shampoos, even the ones that say all natural, organic, etc., contain a toxic, petroleum-based foaming agent Sodium Laureth Sulfate. This chemical strips the natural oils from your hair. If you have never used shampoo that is free of it, you will possibly go through a transition, perhaps experiencing a heavy feeling in your hair which simply signals that your hair is not getting stripped of its natural oils anymore.
If the heavy feeling bothers you, we recommend a vinegar rinse to help cut help cut the heavy feeling and soften your hair. Get a cup of water, get a tablespoon of vinegar (organic apple cider) and use that as a rinse. You do not need conditioner as your hair naturally conditions itself if you use a mild shampoo like Simplicity.
It is important that you stick with the Simplicity regimen until your hair adjusts, which may take a couple of weeks. During this time, you might need to use a little more shampoo to help your hair get used to a new way of being pampered. Enjoy!
